This three part series gives an in depth look at the history and geopolitics of China.

Today’s Topic: The Party is Today’s Emperor. Who really governs China? The Communist Party of China or the PLA, whose generals experienced Tiananmen Square. State Capitalism prevails and Social Harmony is paramount. But today the challenges for the Party are Reform of Hukou, water shortages, endemic corruption of both Party and State, and the Uighurs of Xinjiang.
