We are starting the new Tuesday Travel Book Discussion with a classic, Travels with Charley: In Search of America by John Steinbeck. 

Travels with Charley is considered one of the greatest travelogues of all time. In 1960, John Steinbeck set out to see America with his French poodle Charley in his camper. He wanted to rediscover the country he was famous for writing about. The journey led him to write the ultimate road trip book and contemplate the character of America.
