Event Details
Thomas Tyrrell presents a discussion of the legacy of colonialism and nation-building in the Middle East on the parts of Britain, France, and the United States. The discussion takes a look at the past actions of foreign powers in shaping the Middle East as it is today, and raises questions about whether current humanitarian intervention is really that different from the imperialism of the past.
