Program Description

Event Details

We are pleased to offer Great Decisions - America’s largest discussion program on world affairs.  This 8-part series is created by the Foreign Policy Association whose mission is to serve as a catalyst for developing awareness, understanding, and informed opinion on U.S. foreign policy and global issues.

The group meets weekly for 8 sessions. Participants are encouraged to read the companion briefing book prior to each meeting. At the meeting we will view a corresponding video before engaging in informed and thoughtful conversation about the topic presented.

Our facilitator is educator and long-time Great Discussions leader Klaus-Peter Voss. His experience with world affairs comes from a career spanning over 30 years in education and from traveling extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Australia, the United States and Canada.

Registration is limited to 22 participants for the 8-week series.  Each participant will be able to check out a copy of the 2025 briefing book, which must be returned to the library at the end of the 8-week program. By registering for this program, you agree to attend all 8 sessions.
