Nearly half of American adults have high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. Many don't even know they have it or how to get it under control properly. High blood pressure usually has no symptoms; that’s why it’s called the “silent killer.”
In this lesson we are going to learn about:
• Blood pressure and the normal range for blood pressure numbers.
• How high blood pressure can impact your health.
• Things you can do to help control blood pressure including how to properly take your blood pressure at home.
Presented by The American Heart Association and Lee Health.
