Brief Description of Event

Please join us for our second meeting of the SWFL Feminist Community Reading Group. For our second meeting, we will be reading two pieces by the early feminist author, Virginia Woolf: the third chapter of her book, "A Room of One's Own," and her short essay, "Professions for Women." Participants are encouraged but not required to read the selected texts in advance.

About Our Group: The SWFL Feminist Community Reading Group is a new space for people of all backgrounds to come together to explore important texts in the history of feminist thought and to enrich their understanding of these texts through discussion with others in their community. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. For more information and to keep up to date on our meetings, check out our Meet-Up page. You can find it by searching on your internet browser for "Southwest Florida Feminist Community Reading Group."
