Brief Description of Event

The SWFL Feminist Reading Group is a new space for community members to explore and discuss feminist literature together, focusing on the relevance of this literature for our lives today. We meet each month at the Fort Myers Regional Library in the River District. People of all ages, genders, and backgrounds are welcome to participate. Participants are encouraged but not required to do the selected reading for that meeting in advance.

For our November/December meeting (combined this month due to holidays), we'll be discussing two selections from Rebecca Solnit's new book, "Whose Story Is This? Old Conflicts, New Chapters." The two selections that we'll read can be found online here:

We hope you'll join the conversation. Our November/December meeting will take place on Monday, Dec. 9th from 5:30-6:30 p.m. We meet in the South Building of the Fort Myers Regional Library (next to the library parking lot). Tea and coffee will be provided.
