Brief Description of Event

American Red Cross office recently renewed our building lease and will be closed to allow for painting and re-flooring in our office! We are looking for some space where two staff members can work and meet with volunteers as needed.

Family Storytime

Birth to 5 years and caregivers

This fun and engaging storytime promotes and reinforces early literacy skills and language development through stories, music, movement and activities.

Parents and caregivers participate with their children while learning helpful early literacy strategies and tips to continue at home.

 

Space is limited. Arrive early and visit the front desk to check-in.

For children, ages 3-5 years

Your preschooler will continue to build relationships with friends and develop school readiness skills during this fun and interactive storytime that fosters independent thinking and a lifelong love of learning through reading, talking, singing, writing and playing.

Children attend this program independently while parents and caregivers wait nearby.

​The 90 minute sessions provide adult learners an opportunity to practice speaking English with native speakers.  Topics include everyday situations, current events and cultural areas.

English Café  is offered several times each week at locations throughout Lee County.
