Brief Description of Event

Free phone day: Florida residents with hearing loss or speech disabilities can come receive free specialized equipment, as well as training on how to use it. This is through the state program run by Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc.

This talk will explore the geological and cultural history of the Everglades. In particular, we will look at the role of early Native Americans and initial tree island formations.
