In honor of retired Friends President Mr. Green’s service to the East County Regional Library, the Friends of East County Regional Library present the 2nd Annual Dewitt Green Chess Tournament and Education Day.
Special services like sign language interpretation and assistive listening can be provided at events to patrons upon request. While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.
Children and teens with overdue fines, can reduce their fine by $2 for every 15 minutes they read during this program. Each child can earn up to a maximum of $8 in one session.
Credit may be applied to overdue fines on cards issued to patrons under the age of 18 as well as overdue fines for juvenile and teen materials checked out on their behalf on adult cards. Credit earned may only be used for overdue fines.
