Baby Rhyme Time

For children ages birth – 18 months and caregivers

Bond with your baby and meet new friends during this special storytime that promotes:

  • social skills,
  • motor skills, and
  • early literacy skills.

Parents and caregivers wiggle and giggle with their babies to stories, music, activities and rhymes.

Each program offers literacy tips and strategies that encourage language skills and stimulate brain development, setting the foundation for later reading success.

Caregivers for Kids Programs

This program is intended for children ages 6 to 11 to attend independently while caregivers wait nearby. Seating for caregivers and siblings will be available if space allows. Please speak with staff before registering if caregiver assistance is needed.

Receive personalized help downloading e-books, movies, music, and more from Libby/OverDrive and hoopla, two of Lee County Library System's largest online content providers.

Bring your fully charged tablets, phones, e-readers, and other digital devices for a hands-on help session.

Note: Please bring any passwords you may need for downloading apps. Kindle users will also need an Amazon account and password.

 

This week we will also be offering support for registered users of BARD, the NLS Braille and Audio Reading Download service which is provided through Lee County Talking Books.
