Training for Children's Network of SWFL
For children ages 3-12 years with caregiver.
This storytime is for children with unique learning needs and their families. It uses books, music, and sensory activities to help them enjoy the experience. The schedule is shown with pictures, and stories are shared in different ways.
The program also may include sensory activities like bubbles, songs and movement. The library is calm and quiet, making it a comfortable place for everyone to enjoy the storytime.
Limited to 10 children plus their caregiver.

This special storytime, designed for younger children, includes weekly themes that cover a variety of activities, songs, and stories that make up the universe of a child. Appropriate for children, ages birth to 5.

These interactive, 90-minute sessions provide adult learners an opportunity to practice speaking English with native speakers. Topics include everyday situations, current events and cultural areas.
English Café is offered several times each week at locations throughout Lee County.

This participatory improvisational performance art activity is different every time it happens. Participants choose TASKS written on small slips of paper from a box and perform whatever the TASK instructs them to do.

Caregivers for Teen Events
This program is intended for attendees ages 12 to 18 years to attend independently. Please speak with staff if caregiver assistance is needed.
Children and teens with overdue fines, can reduce their fine by $2 for every 15 minutes they read during this program. Each child can earn up to a maximum of $8 in one session.
Credit may be applied to overdue fines on cards issued to patrons under the age of 18 as well as overdue fines for juvenile and teen materials checked out on their behalf on adult cards. Credit earned may only be used for overdue fines.
