Event Details
Children will love digging into the fascinating history of pottery hosted by the Florida Public Archeology Network.
Participate in hands-on experiments with play-doh or air-dry clay to delve into the art and science of pottery-making and decoration techniques. This summer reading program also explores how pottery serves as a crucial tool for archaeologists to unravel the stories of past cultures.
Space is limited and registration is required. Registration is guaranteed until the start of the program. Dress for potential mess!

Photography During Programs
While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.
Caregivers for Kids Programs
This program is intended for children ages 6 to 11 to attend independently while caregivers wait nearby. Seating for caregivers and siblings will be available if space allows. Please speak with staff before registering if caregiver assistance is needed.
