Brief Description of Event
When it comes to dealing climate change — which is primarily a water crisis of worsening floods, rising sea levels, wildfires and droughts — water is a super-power. Speakers from local organizations will explain how protecting our wetlands, threatened with development, and curtailing blue-green algae blooms can help mitigate the causes and effects of climate change and how efforts to amend our state constitution establishing a fundamental right to clean and healthy waters for all Floridians can help in both regards, wetlands and algae blooms.
