Program Description

Event Details

For ages 12-17 and graduating high school seniors. Earn service hours while helping your community with the Teen Summer of Service program. This seven week series introduces participants to a variety of local agencies that provide services throughout the community and offers the opportunity for teens to brainstorm solutions that can make Lee County even better!

Each one hour program will include a short presentation by the guest speaker, breakout group discussions and activities. Presenters will offer several options for service projects that can be completed in your space and at a time that is convenient for you.

All participants will need to pick-up a free kit of supplies to complete the service projects prior to the start of the program. Completed projects will be due back to the library by August 13th.

Students that fully participate in the program can earn a minimum of 25 hours.

Registration opens on May 1, 2022.
