Brief Description of Event
Lee County Public Safety works very closely with LeeARES, a group of amateur radio operators that support emergency communications in a time of need.
LeeARES is partnering with the National Weather Service (NWS) to host a SKYWARN Spotter Training for both their members and the general public to learn how to "ground truth" various weather spottings and help verify data so NWS staff can issue life-saving warnings.
