Brief Description of Event
Secular Liberty Homeschoolers (SecularLiberty.com) is participating in FIRST Lego League robotics! Our team of 4–6 children and 4 adults (a total of 8–12 people, plus a few well-behaved younger siblings too young to participate) will meet weekly to build and program a robot capable of carrying out tasks and solving problems. Participating kids will learn about science, engineering, mechanics and robotics. And our work will culminate in creating a display board depicting the children's accomplishments — which we may be invited to present at a local end-of-year festival competition.
