Join us for a crafty adventure making balloon rockets and early animation devices called Thaumatropes.

Supply List:
Thaumatrope (early animation device) Materials:
- Downloadable Templates for Round and Square Thaumatropes
- Hole Puncher (only needed for round thaumatrope)
- Pencil (only needed for for square thaumatrope)
- 2 Rubber Bands (for round thaumatrope)
- Scissors
- Colored pencils, markers, and/or crayons (optional)
- Scotch tape
Balloon Rocket Materials:
- Balloons in various shapes and sizes
- Drinking Straws
- Masking Tape or Painters Tape
- Yarn, string, or fishing line
- Two chairs (or something to tie each end of the string to)
- Binder Clips (optional)
