Join the National Alliance Against Home Repair Fraud and a panel of local experts for a presentation on avoiding home repair/rebuild scams during the hurricane recovery. The NAAHRF is an unbiased, safe resource for homeowners to go to get the information they need to protect themselves. This program will educate attendees on how to find contractors and vet them, what should and should not be in the contract, the building permitting and zoning process, insurance issues, how to set up payment schedules to avoid being ripped off, lien releases, and a whole lot more. If you are a homeowner, then this workshop is for you!
