Program Description

Event Details

The time was ripe for Commercial artists to get rich by basically “delivering an audience to a product.”   With the right brand, anyone can be a star.  Pop artist Andy Warhol painted groceries and celebrities as interchangeable commodities to tempt consumer cravings.  Johns, Oldenburg, Banksy, Hirst, Rauschenberg and Chamberlain illustrated the novelty and nonsense of “the Big Hustle.”  Join us for this visual presentation!
