Event Details

Join us for a crafty adventure just for preteens! Older kids will make pirate maps, embossed seashell rubbings, and nautical-themed candles from glass jars.

Supply List:

Pirate Map Materials:

  • Brown Paper Bag
  • Markers
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Paper Towels

 

Nautical Candles:

  • Glass Jar (sauce or salsa or baby food)
  • Plastic Netting (from fruit and vegetables)
  • Rubber Bands
  • Pebbles or Stones
  • Votive Candle

 

Seashell Embossing Materials:

  • Seashells
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Embossing tools (any kind of stick with smooth edges: spoon handles, craft sticks, etc.)
  • Picture Frame
  • Acrylic paint and paintbrush
