Brief Description of Event
The Dubin Center is beginning a new program designed to enable people with cognitive impairment and their caregivers to enjoy recreational and/or educational activities out in the community. This allows them to engage and connect with others in a low-pressure way and takes the burden off of caregivers to plan activities and events. This program is designed to combat the isolation and loneliness that affects the many people living with dementia as well as their caregivers.
The visit to the Cape Coral library will include time enjoying the butterfly garden, followed by a simple butterfly-themed art project.
