Event Details

Homestead laws were enacted in both United States and Canada.  The goal was to encourage settlement in the sparsely populated western lands.  The application process was detailed.  Researchers can discover a significant amount genealogical and family history information in these materials.  This seminar will discuss the research benefits of this process in both the United States and Canada.
