Event Details
An in-depth conversation between award-winning journalist Shoshana Walter and bestselling author Barbara Kingsolver explores Walter’s book, Rehab: An American Scandal. A Pulitzer finalist, Walter exposes the corruption and failures within America’s drug-rehab industry and asks why, despite expanded access to treatment, overdose deaths continue to rise.
Through the stories of four individuals, the book reveals how race, class, profit, and punishment shape who truly gets a chance at recovery—and who does not. Register to take part in this urgent discussion on how the system can be reformed to save lives.
