About The Author:
Sana Javeri Kadri is the founder and CEO of Diaspora Co., a farm-to-table spice company focused on equity, transparency, and quality. Founded in 2017, the company now sources spices from 150 farms across India and Sri Lanka. She is originally from Mumbai and lives in Oakland, California.
Asha Loupy is a recipe developer and writer with over a decade of experience in the specialty food industry. Her work has appeared in Bon Appétit, Food52, and Epicurious. She is based in Oakland, California.
