Did you know that stars vibrate, or "oscillate"? NASA's new planet-hunting satellite, TESS (for “Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite”), is able to detect these oscillations in thousands of nearby stars. In this program, learn how we use these signals to understand both the stars themselves and the planets that we are discovering in orbit around them.
