Join us for an engaging author presentation and book signing by Kristin Owens, author of Elizabeth Sails. Copies of her book will be available for purchase during this event (credit card only).

Kristin Owens grew up in Buffalo, New York, and now resides in southwest Florida. She holds a PhD in Higher Education Administration and has taught at institutions including Penn State, the University of Maryland, the University of Alaska Anchorage, and Mat-Su College. An award-winning educator and writer, her work has appeared in Wine Enthusiast, 5280, Writer’s Digest, and Writer Unboxed. Her debut novel, Elizabeth Sails, was published in 2024 by Rising Action Publishing/Simon & Schuster and was shortlisted in 2025 for The Gilda Prize and Killer Nashville’s Silver Falchion Award for Best Cozy.
