Raised by naturalist parents in rural Bonita Springs, Marjorie Carr used the power of the pen and grassroots activism to celebrate Old Florida and protect Florida’s wildlife and wild places, preserving many of Florida’s ecological treasures. Listen to Florida historian, Dr. Peggy Macdonald, commemorate the life of one of Florida's first female pioneers.
