Event Details
Author Roger Williamson is here to talk about his book "Letters to Mom From Nam".
After graduating from the College of Wooster in 1967, Roger Williamson enlisted in the US Army knowing that his path would likely lead to the jungles of Vietnam. By 1968 he ended up there as an Advisor to the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Even far from home, his connection to his family and friends remained strong.
His stories show the fear, frustration, anger and sometimes humorous situations he encountered as a young Lieutenant in an increasingly unpopular war.
This program is presented by The Friends of South County Regional Library.
