Event Details

The Hurricane Preparedness Seminar will include information about how to plan and prepare for hurricane season.  Also included will be information about the Special Needs Program, volunteering with Emergency Management, family emergency plans, evacuation routes, public shelters, emergency supply kits, evacuation zones, and what resources are available during a disaster.

Stacy Aloisio is the Training, Exercise, and Long-Term Recovery Coordinator for Lee County Emergency Management in the Planning Section.  Prior to working in Lee County, she was a search and rescue volunteer in Nevada and an intern for Brevard County Emergency Management.  Her past experience includes responding to manmade and natural disasters, including Tropical Storms Eta and Elsa, and the January 16 Iona McGregor Tornado.

Photography During Programs

While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.
