Program Description

Event Details

More than ever, we let ourselves be nobbled by our outer world; interacting with hope, fear, or indifference. If we ask ourselves where all this takes place, the answer is in the mind. Yet, we make every possible effort to ignore it and pass it over, indulging ourselves with uncontrollable impermanent distractions. This cannot bring us peace and contentment, much less genuine happiness. It is time to pay some attention to our inner world, as it does pay off with the best dividends.

Ildefonso PaƱero Mateos will provide an unbiased, accessible presentation of the workings of the mind: using examples, sharing first-person experience, providing clarity in dealing with what seems contradictions and paradoxes to a dualistic mind exploring qualities of the mind, mental factors, and more.
