Program Description

Event Details

In the 18th and 19th centuries, The Grand Tour was virtually an institution for young British aristocrats, and later for young gentlemen, artists and writers from both Britain and America. Italy was the grand destination, with Rome at the center of it all. This class will retrace some of the routes through the eyes and experiences of those young travelers of centuries ago.
