Brief Description of Event

Gen Kelsang Namdrol, Resident Teacher, will give a meditation talk on meditation and how to reduce stress.
In our busy and even hectic modern lives, we can feel stressed, overwhelmed, and unable to cope with the daily demands and difficulties that life presents. Sometimes we may even feel the only answer is to change the externals to try to be happier. Meditation is a powerful method to deal with or manage our stress. Through the practice of meditation, we can eliminate feelings of stress, overwhelm and worry because they are states of mind.
Join us for this illuminating public talk and learn techniques that enable us to face life’s challenges with a more calm, peaceful, and positive mind. By gradually developing this inner skill, we will actually gain the inner strength or resilience we need to bounce back when things go wrong.
