Brief Description of Event

The Dubin Center is an agency devoted to providing support and empowerment to people living with Dementia and their caregivers. The Out and About program at the Dubin Center is devoted to helping caregivers and people with dementia get out of their homes and enjoying their community. This is a low-pressure way to enjoy community activities without having to plan events themselves. This program is aimed at combatting the loneliness, isolation, and depression that is associated with a diagnosis of dementia, both for people living with this condition and their caregivers.

This Out and About event will include professional story tellers donating their time to our cause. For 1.25 hours, Dubin Center clients will enjoy being regaled by the many tales these story tellers have to share.
