Join us for an informative seminar exploring the role of SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) in genetics. SNPs—pronounced “snips”—are small variations in the DNA sequence that occur when cells make mistakes while copying their genetic material. Just like typos in written text, these tiny errors can lead to changes in how genes function. Learn how SNPs arise, why they matter, and what they can tell us about health, ancestry, and more.
