Step into the prehistoric world with Dino Academy presented by Bright Star Theatre! Led by the quirky and curious Dr. Sarah Tops, this action-packed summer reading adventure uncovers fascinating dino facts that will wow even the biggest dino fans. Featuring life-like, colorful dinosaur puppets that stomp, roar and charm their way into every heart, this show blends science, storytelling and imagination in the style of your favorite nature programs. It’s an unforgettable field trip through time—without ever leaving your seat! Open to children ages 6-11.

Due to the popularity of the event, space is limited and registration is required. Your registration is guaranteed only until the start of the program at which time we will admit waitlisted attendees and walk-ins who arrive on a first come, first serve basis.

Children attend independently. Parents are welcome to join once the program begins as space allows.

Photography During Programs

While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.

Caregivers for Kids Programs

This program is intended for children ages 6 to 11 to attend independently while caregivers wait nearby. Seating for caregivers and siblings will be available if space allows. Please speak with staff before registering if caregiver assistance is needed.
