Darkness to Light Training Overview
Stewards of Children® developed by Darkness to Light, is an evidence-based training program designed to educate adults on how to prevent, recognize, and respond responsibly to child sexual abuse. The training empowers participants with:
Awareness: Understanding the prevalence and impact of child sexual abuse.
Prevention Strategies: Practical steps to reduce risk in organizations and communities.
Response Skills: How to react appropriately to suspicions or disclosures.
The program includes real-life survivor stories, expert insights, and actionable tools to create safer environments for children. It is widely used by schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and community groups.
