Program Description

Event Details

Calling all astronauts! Are you ready to code and blast off from Earth? We are heading straight to the International Space Station to collect food for the aliens, but we have to carefully avoid space debris upon entry into the moon's atmosphere. This STEAM-filled program will be spent practicing block coding skills and then exhibiting moon landings. All supplies provided. Registration required for children K-5. Your reservation is guaranteed only until the start of the program.

Accompanying Adults

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop offs will not be permitted.

Photography During Programs

While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions. Individuals who do not want to be photographed or recorded are responsible for removing themselves from the area or notifying the photographer of their opt-out status.

Caregivers for Kids Programs

This program is intended for children ages 6 to 11 to attend independently while caregivers wait nearby. Seating for caregivers and siblings will be available if space allows. Please speak with staff before registering if caregiver assistance is needed.
