In honor of retired Friends President Mr. Green’s service to the East County Regional Library, the Friends group presents the inaugural Dewitt Green Chess Tournament and Education Day. The Chess Tournament will be hosted from 1 to 4PM in the meeting room and is intended for teens and adults ages 12 and up. Pre-registration for tournament online. Open positions available for sign up in person from 12 Noon to 1PM based on availability. Tournament will consist of 3 rounds of 50 minute games. Judges on site determine the winners. 24 person limit to event. Registration required. Light luncheon from 12 to 1PM, while supplies last.

Photography During Programs
While attending library programs, visitors may be photographed by library staff. Photographs become library property and may be used in library promotions.
