Event Details
Discover Celtic music from Ireland, Scotland, and Canada. This program is very dynamic, energetic, and educational - and often people can’t resist clapping, tapping, singing, and even sometimes dancing! Interspersed between the music are explanations on the ornaments and nuances of Celtic music.
From fast, high-energy jigs and reels to captivating airs, ballads, upbeat songs and sea shanties, Emily Ann Thompson and her husband Kelly Thompson take the audience on a musical and educational journey through the Celtic lands. Emily Ann performs on violin/fiddle while clogging, and sings in English and Irish Gaelic. She performs with her husband Kelly on guitar, percussion, and vocals.
