Event Details

Come learn about Buckingham Army Airfield and the important role it played during World War II. Historian Jim Zbick of the Southwest Florida Military Museum, located in Cape Coral, will discuss the significance of this local historical site and take your questions. Jim, a former Pennsylvania news editor and currently a contributing opinion writer, has led historical tours of the Buckingham Trails Preserve - part of Lee County's Conservation 20/20 program - for the past four years.
