Event Details
This month's book discussion selection is The Knight and The Moth by Rachel Gillig, a gothic, mist-cloaked tale of a young prophetess forced on an impossible quest with the one knight whose future is beyond her sight.
Sybil Delling, a Diviner who receives prophetic visions from mysterious beings called Omens, is nearing the end of her ten-year service in a remote cathedral. But when her fellow Diviners begin to disappear, she’s forced to team up with Rodrick, a defiant, irreverent knight who distrusts her visions. As danger creeps beyond the cathedral walls, Sybil must confront both divine mysteries and unsettling alliances, realizing that only a heretic might hold the key to saving them all.
This program is part of the 27th annual Southwest Florida Reading Festival, to be held Saturday, March 7. For more information about the festival and its featured authors, visit www.ReadFest.org.
