Event Details

Just over 50 years ago, Apollo 11 landed the first two people on the moon. Join us for the riveting tale of this monumentally significant effort to send humankind to the lunar surface -- and return them safely to Earth. Presenter Steven Valdespino will use audiovisuals to bring this key era in US history to life.

Mr. Steven Valdespino (M.A. History) founded his company Have Lecture Will Travel after 25 years of teaching, so he could share his interests with adult audiences. He uses an audiovisual medium to meld his passions in aesthetic and creative ways. His audiences love what he does -- and it shows. Intellectual stimulation has never been such fun!
