Event Details
Based on his 2007 award-winning book, Alligators, Sharks & Panthers, Charles Sobczak puts his unique sense of eco-humor to work, by showing how the likelihood of actually being attacked, let alone eaten, by any of these animals is extremely remote. He will also explain ways by which everyone can lower that risk even further. The lecture will also explore evolutionary biology and why the new world predators are markedly less aggressive than their old world counterparts.
