Join us for a crafty adventure for preteens making Easter Island megaliths from laundry detergent bottles and masking tape, and tanzuku wishes in honor of Japan’s Tanabata Festival.

Easter Island Head Vase Materials:
- Laundry Detergent or Dish Detergent Bottle (empty and clean)
- Masking Tape
- Black Shoe Polish or Watered-Down Black Paint
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush
Tanabata Wishes Materials:
- Construction Paper cut into strips
- Hole Puncher
- Black Paint
- Paint Brush

- Sharpie Markers (the thick kind with a beveled edge work well)
- Thin ribbon
