Join us for an engaging author presentation and book signing featuring Jeffrey Blount and Susan Zurenda. Copies of the books "Mr. Jimmy from Around the Way" and "The Girl From the Red Rose Motel" will be sold at this event (credit card only).

Jeffrey is the award-winning author of four novels, including "The Emancipation of Evan Walls," winner of the 2020 National Indie Excellence Award for African American fiction. He is also an Emmy award-winning television director and a 2016 inductee to the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame. During a 34-year career at NBC News, Jeffrey directed a decade of Meet The Press, the Today show, NBC Nightly News, and major special events. Susan has won numerous fiction awards and published stories and essays in various literary magazines. Her debut novel, "Bells for Eli," was selected for the Gold Medal (first place) winner for Best First Book by the Independent Publisher Book Awards, was a 2020 finalist for American Book Fest Best Book Awards, and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for 2021. Susan enjoyed a long career teaching English before moving into writing.
